IMAX Theatre at Palisades Cente to Debut Star Trek: Into the Darkness Ahead of Other Theaters with Poster Giveaway

The IMAX Theatre at Palisades Center will offer an early IMAX release of the highly anticipated new Star Trek film Into the Darkness on Wednesday, May 15^th at 8PM and 11PM. Those attending the 11pm show will receive an exclusive Into the Darkness limited edition poster. Star Trek: Into the Darkness features footage shot with IMAX cameras which can best be appreciated on a 1570 film projector which IMAX Palisades has exclusively in this geographic area.

In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice. Several key sections of the film that feature big action set pieces have been captured with IMAX cameras which have become an integral tool for visionary filmmakers to tell their amazing stories. Exclusively in IMAX, sequences shot with the extremely high-resolution cameras will expand to fill the entire screen and further immerse the audience in the vast dimension and adventure of this highly-anticipated follow-up.
