JACK THE GIANT SLAYER AT IMAX PALISADES

The IMAX Theatre at Palisades Center will debut Jack the Giant Slayer on February 28th.

Jack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult) into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend—and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

The IMAX release of Jack the Giant Slayer will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of An IMAX 3D Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.

Jack the Giant Slayer is rated PG-13 and runs 115 minutes long.

The IMAX Theatre at Palisades Center boasts one of the largest screens and one of the few remaining 1570 projection systems in the country. This means Rockland, Orange, Bergen and Westchester residents have an opportunity to see films shot with IMAX cameras the way the director intended – full screen with full six story high action.
