Flood Advisory For Putnam, Rockland, Westchester Counties
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.
There's a flood advisory from the National Weather Service in effect for Rockland and Westchester counties, plus eastern Putnam County and southern Fairfield County in Connecticut, until 7:15 p.m.
The NWS said at 6:02 p.m., Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include White Plains, Port Chester, Ossining, Tarrytown, Mount Kisco, Dobbs Ferry, Nyack, Tappan, Brewster and Harrison.
