
Michael R. Conner, 57, son of the late Jane (Boardman) and William R. Conner passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Nyack Hospital.
Mike was born on October 23, 1957 in Suffern, New York and was raised in Stony Point. Mike was a graduate of North Rockland High School, Class of 1976. Mike was an electrician by trade and a member of United Scenic Artists Local USA-829. Always creative, in his early 20’s was bitten by the acting bug. Mike was cast as the Bully, in the Penguin Repertory Company production of, “The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd”. He also was cast as Constable Bill Warren in the Piermont Theater Company production of “Our Town”. As a member of the Stagehands union, Mike worked on the sets of “Law and Order, SVU” and “The Sopranos”. Mike also worked for many years at the Metropolitan Opera House in Manhattan. Mike’s creativity spread to painting and he was part of the Garnerville Arts Center.
His father William R. of Stony Point survives Mike along with his daughter, Bobbi-Ann Kanoff (William E.) and granddaughter Charlotte Rose Kanoff of Glen Spey, New York. In addition Mike is survived by his sister Sandra J. Conner of Stony Point and his brother William (Janice) of North Creek, New York.

In addition his nieces and nephews, Shannon and Ryan Moore of Stony Point and Sean, Caitlin and Kevin of North Creek, New York, survive Mike. His mother, Jane B. Conner on March 11, 2006 and his daughter, Erica Marie on June 21, 2009, preceded Mike in death.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Scleroderma Research Foundation, 220 Montgomery Street Suite 1411 San Francisco, California 94104 in memory of Jane B. Conner or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, New York 10004 in memory of Erica Marie Conner. Mike loved both his Mom and daughter Erica and missed them both every day.

Family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery.
