Good Samaritan Hospital's Spring Ball Raises More than $225K

Dr. Harry Boltin of Nyack and Sam Fratto & IBEW Local Union 363 were honored at the Gala.

From Westchester Medical Center Health Network: Support for local healthcare and the spirit of philanthropy rang loud and clear at Good Samaritan Hospital’s 32nd Annual Spring Ball on April 21. More than 300 physicians, healthcare administrators, board members, staff and friends raised more than $225,000 at the ball, the hospital’s largest annual fundraiser. Good Samaritan, a Member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), held the event at The Rockleigh.

Proceeds from the Spring Ball help make it possible for the hospital to expand and enhance essential programs and services, ensuring that area residents continue to have local access to advanced healthcare.

Good Samaritan Hospital recognizes two honorees for exceptional service at the ball each year. Harry Boltin, M.D., of Nyack, received the Sister Joseph Rita Award for Medical Excellence. Dr. Boltin, a radiologist with Ramapo Radiology Associates, based at GSH, has served the region since 1970. The Good Samaritan Medal of Honor was awarded to Sam Fratto & IBEW Local Union 363, stalwart supporters of the hospital and numerous local charities for many years.
