Hudson Valley Weekend: Hot And Humid
First, isolated thunderstorms are possible during a rainy Friday. Then it'll be increasingly steamy.
Tropical Storm Isaias may have been the most damaging storm since Sandy, but unlike Sandy it has not ushered in cold weather: It's going to be hot and humid for the weekend.
First, Friday will be rainy in the region, with isolated thunderstorms forecast for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.
The National Weather Service predicts the next four days will be hot and humid in the mid-Hudson Valley, with temperatures rising to 90 degrees by Sunday.

- Friday- Areas of fog in the morning. Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the upper 70s. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
- Friday Night- Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Humid with lows in the upper 60s. Northeast winds around 5 mph in the evening, becoming light and variable. Chance of rain 40 percent.
- Saturday- Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. A chance of showers. Humid with highs in the lower 80s. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 30 percent.
- Saturday Night- Partly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Lows in the mid 60s.
- Sunday Through Monday Night- Mostly clear. Hot. Highs around 90. Lows in the upper 60s.
The NWS predicts a sunny, hot weekend for the lower Hudson Valley, with temps climbing by Sunday into the mid 80s.
- Friday - Isolated thunderstorms. Showers likely, mainly in the morning. Highs in the mid 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
- Friday Night - Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers with isolated thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 60s. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
- Saturday - Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. East winds around 5 mph.
- Saturday Night - Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 60s. West winds around 5 mph.
- Sunday - Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s.
- Sunday Night - Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 60s.
