Illinois Man Shot, Killed In Nyack: Police

NYACK, NY — An Illinois man was shot and killed Sunday in Nyack. The Orangetown Police Department said Darien Brydie, 21, of Country Club Hills, Illinois, was in a car in the parking lot of Nyack Plaza in Nyack along with Collyer Goodman, 18, of Valley Cottage.
Police said that Goodman shot Brydie. The circumstances that led to the shooting are still being investigated.
Goodman was charged with second-degree manslaughter and first-degree reckless endangerment, felonies, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

He was arraigned in Orangetown Justice Court and held on $250,000 bail. He was taken to the Rockland County Jail.
