Josephine B. Jevens, 80, of Lancaster, Pa., passed away on Dec. 4, 2014 at Lancashire Hall.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Ferguson) Brandt. Joann was the wife of the late Arthur W. Jevens, who died in 1992.
She was raised in Warwick, N.Y. Later, Joann moved to Nyack, N.Y., where she worked for Letchworth Village for more than 40 years. After retiring in 1994, Joann moved to Oneida, N.Y.
Joann loved animals, the outdoors and freshwater fishing. She enjoyed reading mysteries, going to the movies with her son, Jim, and going out to eat.
Surviving is a son, James Jevens, husband of Roni, of Lancaster, Pa.; a sister, Kathleen Brandt of Oneida, N.Y.; and two nieces, Karen Shanahan and Melissa Driscoll.
A service will be held in May 2015 with details to be announced at that time.
