NYACK, NY — A man tried to take an officer's gun while fighting with police in Nyack Feb. 20. Police said the Chester, New York resident started the whole thing by walking into an office in Nyack, demanding a woman hand him her phone and jewelry, and taking credit cards from a wallet.
