Nyack 19-Year-Old Accused Of Stalking: NYSP Campus Unit

The court issued a full stay-away order of protection issued on behalf of the victim, state police said.

NYACK, NY — A Nyack man is accused of stalking and of trying to hack into his victim's computer. New York State police arrested Obdulio Chacon Feb. 28.

The investigation that resulted in his arrest was a joint effort by the New York State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit (Troop F) and the State Police Haverstraw Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

State police did not say what college campus was involved.

Chacon, 19, was charged with third-degree stalking and attempted computer trespass. Both are misdemeanors.

Chacon was arraigned in the Village of Nyack court and released to re-appear at a future date with a full stay-away order of protection issued on behalf of the victim, state police said.
