Don't Miss: Nyack Chamber's Classic Car Night
The Nyack Chamber of Commerce the sixth annual Classic Car Night will be held on Thursday, July 20. Admission is free.

From the Nyack Chamber of Commerce: The Nyack Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that classic cars will once again roll into the center of Nyack and park on Main Street for the sixth annual Classic Car Night on Thursday, July 20 from 5:00 pm until dusk. A rain date is set for the following Thursday, July 27.
This year’s line-up of vehicular perfection will include a wide array of classics, rare models and muscle cars. Admission is free — and participation for display cars is also free. (Display car parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.)
New this year is a special visit from the 1966 Batmobile ― signed by Adam West (Batman).

The Batmobile will be located at the Soup Angels tent. Batmobile fans can pay a modest fee to be photographed in the car and qualify for a chance to win a thrilling Bat-ride. The Bat-ride winner will be announced at the event, and the ride will take place immediately thereafter. Proceeds will benefit Soup Angels.

Soup Angels is a volunteer, non-profit, non-denominational community service organization that serves meals to the elderly, homeless and working poor and their families.

Car Night is generously sponsored by Autobahn Indoor Speedway, Motorcar Manor, Palisades Auto Sales, Rockland Rodders and Speedpro Imaging.
Outdoor entertainment will include classic East coast oldies and West coast surf rock favorites spun by
DJ Don. The Known Offenders will be playing classic rock at O’Malley’s, and DJ JT will be serving up doo-wop at Karma. Special for the kids, Jamie’s Faces will be creating amazing face art and temporary tattoos.
Promising a summer evening full of fun for automotive aficionados, friends and family, visitors coming to Nyack to show their cars and admire those on display can stroll down the center of Main Street and take advantage of the wide variety of fine and casual dining choices, along with the eclectic array of specialty shops available throughout Nyack.
"This community-centered event promises to once again attract a strong showing of car enthusiasts — people who take pride in owning and maintaining special vehicles as well as people who appreciate them,” said Scott Baird, Chamber President. “It’s also a great opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy the Village’s unique restaurants, boutiques and service businesses."
Adding fun and food to the mix, Nyack restaurants, merchants and night spots will be joining in with special offerings. To name just a few highlights, Nyack Optical is offering Classic Car Night merchandise, and Nyack’s classic diner Johnny Cakes is putting on a ‘50s-themed dinner service, complete with specials on burgers, shakes and fries, ‘50s and ‘60s music, and waitresses dressed for the occasion.
"Visitors can expect not only to see beautifully maintained classic and vintage cars, but also to enjoy a fun night out with friends and family,” said Roger S. Cohen, Chamber Vice President. "Our exhibitors, entertainers and sponsors are planning a great show, so everyone will have a memorable night in Nyack.”
Classic Car Night piggy-backs on another community initiative spearheaded by the Chamber — Nyack’s Thursday Farmers’ Market — which runs earlier in the day (8:00 am to 2:00 pm) in the heart of Nyack’s downtown. When all the fresh local fruits, vegetables and other delicacies have been sold, the classic will be cruising onto Main Street to begin the evening’s festivities.
