Nyack To Seek Voter OK To Buy Property Near The High School
A referendum is to be held in 2021.

NYACK, NY — The Nyack Board of Education will ask voters to approve the purchase of a 1.1 acre property near Nyack High School to be used for parking and open space.
The site is at 366 North Highland Ave. in Upper Nyack.
There would be no impact on taxpayers, as $687,500 has already been set aside, district officials said.

The vote will be Jan. 22 (or Jan. 29 if the weather is too inclement on the 22nd).

The Pie Lady café and other businesses were once at the site, which includes a parking lot and several buildings.
