
Nyack Public Schools and the South Orangetown Central School District both announced late Tuesday that they would open on with a two-hour delay Wednesday morning due to the winter storm.
Both districts dismissed early and cancelled all after-school activities Tuesday.Â
The National Weather Service's storm warning will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning. There will also be a wind chill advisory for 1 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, with wind chills as low as 20 degrees below zero.Â
Pearl River, Nanuet and Clarkstown schools also announced Tuesday night that they would have two-hour delays Wednesday morning.Â
