Nyack's Michael Ramponi Going to Ardsley

The Ardsley Board of Education has appointed Michael Ramponi as the new Athletic Director effective July 1.

He goes to Ardsley from the Nyack Union Free School District where he has taught physical education since 2002. In addition, he has been head varsity football coach, head varsity girls and boys basketball coach and head freshman baseball coach during his years in Nyack.

Ardsley education officials made the announcement after the May 3 board meeting at which he was appointed.

Ramponi attended Springfield College and received a B.S. in Movements of Sports Studies, received his M.S. Ed Health K-12 from Lehman College and his certification in administration from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
