NYC Man Killed In Single Car Crash In Orangetown

A New York City man was killed Saturday morning in a single-car crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, police said Tuesday.

ORANGETOWN, NY - A New York City man was killed Saturday morning in a single-car crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, police said Tuesday.

On Saturday just before 9 a.m., State Police Haverstraw, Monroe and Thruway responded to a single car crash on the Parkway in Orangetown.

Investigation revealed that a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Anthonelli Ramos, 26, of was traveling north on the Parkway and was exiting at exit 9E when he failed to negotiate a sharp turn, left the roadway and overturned.

According to police, Ramos was ejected from the vehicle.

Nanuet EMS transported Ramos to Nyack Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
