Palisades Center To Hold Virtual Job Fair
More than 40 of the mall's tenants are hiring.

WEST NYACK, NY — As things creep back toward normal, more than 40 of the tenants of the Palisades Center need to hire staff, so mall management is hosting a virtual job fair.
As businesses there continue to ramp up operations, and shoppers continue returning, General Manager Darrin Houseman said they can connect job seekers with immediate opportunities.
Palisades Center employs 5,000 people, and three out of four employees live in Rockland County.

"The Palisades Center is a key part of our local economy and it is heartening to see businesses once again open and hiring," said County Executive Ed Day. "I encourage Rockland residents to check out the list of openings and apply for those that are of interest."
The Virtual Job Fair will run through Sept. 30.

There are positions for people with all types of experience, education, and skill levels – from entry-level roles to management positions. Full and part-time available jobs include Managers, Sales Associates, Servers and more.
Looking for work in retail? Several stores have positions open.
“The Palisades Center Virtual Job Fair is a great idea for the tenants with open positions, especially independently-owned businesses like my own,“ said Caryn Salomon, Owner of Ily Clothing Store. “It’s been difficult finding a motivated and experienced salesperson to join our team."
Thinking of something more strenuous? How about working for the Autobahn Indoor Speedway, whose job posting says "the positions are numerous and are all INTENSE."
"We thank Palisades Center for taking the initiative to share our openings with people seeking employment and look forward to interviewing and hiring our new team members," said David Larson, Managing Partner at Autobahn Indoor Speedway.
