Pedestrian Hit By Car In Nyack

Police are seeking witnesses.

NYACK, NY — A driver from Manhattan hit a 13-year-old girl on South Highland Avenue in Nyack at 11:09 a.m. Thursday, Orangetown police said.

The driver, 77-year-old Shan Willson, was south of Main Street in a 1995 Toyota Tercel. The collision took place as the girl tried to cross South Highland, police said.

The teen was taken to Nyack Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
