Pet of the Week: Storm

Meet Storm ... our resident diva. Storm is a 3-year-old terrier mix who has been at the shelter for over a year. She came in as a scared young dog but since then her personality has come shining through.

Storm is an active dog who enjoys running, walking, hiking and even kayaking. She is one of our Hi-Tor Dog Trotters and has run 350+ miles in the past year. She loves to be outside either being active or just relaxing and enjoying the sunshine.

Storm is also well-mannered and smart and when not being active she is happiest snuggling on your lap. She is a loyal companion, a good adventure partner and really loves her people. It may take a little while for her to get to know and trust you but once she does she will love you with all her heart.

She is spunky and her expressions are priceless. Storm would do best in an adult only home, especially with experienced owners, She would need to be the only pet in the home, true to her diva nature.
