Service for Joscelyn Emerson Moses is Feb. 18

Joscelyn Emerson Moses of Central Nyack NY son of Benjamin and Agnes ( Finnigan) Moses, passed away on February 13, 2015.

Born on December 2, 1924 in Saint Ann Parish Jamaica West Indies. Mr Moses retired from Lederle Labs as a Machine Operator in 1990.

He leaves behind a son Neville Moses of Nanuet, NY two daughters Anita Moses-Parker of Nyack NY and Evelyn Moses of Charlotte, NC. He was a loving Husband to his wife Willie Mae (Person) Moses (Deceased) and Father to Theresa Moses-Bruce (Deceased). He is the Stepfather of Dian Collins of Tuskegee Ala. and Johnny Cobbs Of Cleveland Oh.. Grandfather to Gregory Parker Jr. Nyack NY, Andrew Moses Nanuet, NY and Leandra Moses of Charlotte NC. Tashonda Cobbs of Stone Mountain Ga. Lolita Armstrong of Lithonia Ga., Dzondria Collins of Tuskegee Ala. and James Collins of Tuskegee Ala.

He will be deeply missed by five Great Grandchildren and a host Nieces and Nephews.

A Homegoing Service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Philips AME Zion Church, located at the corner of Burd and Mill Street in Nyack. Visiting will take place on Tuesday from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the church.
