Snow Again In The Forecast For The Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Remember March 2018 when it snowed so hard there were power outages everywhere? Well that's not what this forecast looks like.

The National Weather Service predicts a chance of snow mixed with rain on Friday night, when lows will be in the 20s. Up in Dutchess County, it could be all snow, the NWS says.

But first, you might notice some thunder, as rain comes in Tuesday afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Here's a look at thefour-day forecast from Hudson Valley Weather:

  • Tuesday: Scattered showers, lows in the high 30s, winds shifting overnight.
  • Wednesday: Partly cloudy, mild but blustery, winds 5-15 mph with higher gusts.
  • Thursday: Partly sunny, mild in the daytime but lows into the 30s overnight.
  • Friday: Increasing clouds, highs in the low 40s. Rain could mix with or change to snow overnight, particularly in the higher elevations in the Hudson Valley.
