Two  South Orangetown Middle School debate teams successfully made their cases at the finale of the Metropolitan Debate League.
David Fowler received a 27th of 108 speaker position trophy and won by accumulating points awarded for each debate round. Jake Laddis, Ethan Pusch and David Fowler are credited with helping to earn the team a trophy placing tenth out of 36 teams.
