South Orangetown School Board Incumbents Face Three Challengers

South Orangetown School Board incumbent Leon "Lonnie" Jacobs and Guy DeVincenzo each have challengers for their seats.

ORANGETOWN, NY - South Orangetown school board incumbents Guy DeVincenzo and Leon “Lonnie” Jacobs each have challengers in their re-election bids.

For his seat, DeVincenzo faces challengers Ira Steinberg and Christine Lee. Jacobs faces challenger Scott Vanderhoef for his seat.

South Orangetown board members run for fixed seats that carry three-year terms, which begin on July 1 and end on June 30, 2020.

Voting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and take place at four different polling places.
