Strong Thunderstorms Headed South In Hudson Valley

Strong winds are moving ahead of them.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service posted a special weather statement about a line of strong thunderstorms, saying winds of 30-40 mph can be expected ahead of them.

Movement was south at 35 mph.

  • Naugatuck and Peekskill around 805 PM.
  • Wallingford and Weston around 810 PM.
  • Stamford and New Canaan around 815 PM.
  • Haverstraw and New City around 820 PM.
  • Nyack and Sleepy Hollow around 830 PM.
  • Tarrytown and Tappan around 835 PM.
  • Dobbs Ferry and Norwood around 840 PM.
Scarsdale around 845 PM EDT.
