Visitation, Service for Melissa DeLoatch

Melissa A. DeLoatch of Stony Point, NY went home February 20, 2019. She was born August 27, 1986.

Melissa was pre-deceased by her sister Lisa Christopher and brother Richard Christopher Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Shawn DeLoatch and her children Layla Castillo, Mason Castillo, Benjamin Castillo, Shawn DeLoatch Jr, Unique-Lisa DeLoatch; mother Joan Christopher, step-father Richard Christopher. Her brothers Ryan Christopher, James Christopher. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Gloria DeLoatch including multiple brothers-in-law, friends, aunt and uncles.

Melissa was a loving and devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin and friend. Melissa was a volunteer firefighter during her young adulthood for Central Nyack Fire Department. She was a very hard working and dedicated woman in all that she did.

On behalf of her husband, the DeLoatch and Christopher families, we want to thank everyone who had expressed their condolences and has lent a helping hand.

The visitation is 9-11 a.m. Thursday, at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 16 Jefferson St., Nyack. A service will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's.
