WCFR Patron Appreciation Honorees Announced

Nanuet, N.Y. (November 14, 2015) – Mark your calendars to join Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 for their annual Patron Appreciation Celebration. The dinner event, from 6-10 pm at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Nanuet, brings together like-minded individuals and businesses who share the same belief that education and training can help save lives, while honoring those who have made outstanding contributions to the organization.
Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. proudly announces this year’s Patron Appreciation Honorees: Dr. Gregory Emili, Owner, Balm of Gilead Medical Office;Dwayne Brown, Owner, Today’s Event; Michael Mastrangelo, General Manager, Wide World Ferrari Maserati; Mireille Leroy, RN, BSN, President, Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA) of Rockland County; and Thomas D. Weddell, CPA, Partner, Vanacore, DeBenedictus, DiGovanni & Weddell.
Joseph Makhandal Champagne, Jr., Esq. will be the event’s special keynote speaker. Mr. Champagne practices law in New Jersey and focuses primarily on immigration, criminal and civil law. He is currently an Ambassador of Peace from the Universal Peace Federation. As part of his peace making attempts, in April of 2015, he traveled to Dominican Republic to help resolve the ongoing crisis over the Dominican Republic plan to deport tens of thousands of Haitians. He serves on several advisory committees including Alternative Dispute Resolution, Law Day, and Minority Concerns. He is a member of the Advisory Board UNESCO Center for Global Education and ambassador of several good will international organizations.

Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. is very passionate about its mission “to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training” with its current focus on the United States and Haiti. WCFR members are a diverse group of volunteers who provide their services free of charge. Through their efforts, WCFR members seek to empower individuals in their own communities and save lives.
