14th EagleFest A Great Success

Teatown officials said about 2,500 people came to Croton Point Park for the festival.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — About 2,500 bird enthusiasts enjoyed a full day of activities at the 14th Annual EagleFest, including seeing live birds of prey in their natural setting. And a lot of people helped pull it off.


At Teatown's yearly grand celebration of the bald eagle, various birds of prey species, including a bald eagle, were featured in a special program led by nationally renowned experts in the handling and care of the birds. The event also included children’s activities and food trucks with various delicacies. In addition, there was a special performance by Dar Williams, renowned singer-songwriter and activist.
