8 Ossining Stores Cited for Selling Alcohol To A Minor

The Ossining Police Department conducted compliance checks Tuesday of retail establishments that sell alcoholic beverages.

OSSINING, NY — Members of the Ossining Police Department conducted compliance checks Tuesday night of retail establishments in Ossining that sell alcoholic beverages. Of the 29 stores checked, eight sold alcohol to a minor.

In each case, an appearance tickets were issued to the clerk of the store and a referral was made to the New York State Liquor Authority, police said.

The businesses alleged to have sold an alcoholic beverage to an underage person:

2. Mana Foods (120 Spring Street)
3. La Cuchara (107 Spring Street)
4. Paradise Deli (41 Spring Street)
5. Sunoco (197 South Highland Avenue)
6. John’s Grocery (64 N Highland Avenue)
7. Yale Avenue Market
8. Country Wine & Liquor (234 South Highland Avenue)
