Arrest Made in Auto Accident Off Saw Mill

Exit 17 off the Saw River Parkway was blocked off due an accident Saturday afternoon.

One driver was left injured and the other in custody after a tw0-car accident that closed Exit 17 of the Saw Mill Parkway the afternoon of March 30.

Local and county emergency personnel were on the scene of a two-car auto accident Saturday afternoon in front of Tattoo Me, at 413 Ashford Ave. in Dobbs Ferry. 

One driver was taken to the local medical center with minor injuries after the accident that occured southbound on the parkway around 12:45 p.m.

Police would not say what the other driver was charged with, but that he was arrested and that the incident is an ongoing criminal investigation.
