Bigfoot Creamery Reopens For The Season
Celebrate! There will be ice cream at Ossining's waterfront.

OSSINING, NY — The second season of Bigfoot Creamery starts Friday, and Laryssa and Stephen Jardine are ready.
After all, they started a new business during a pandemic — so you've got to figure there's not a lot any more that can surprise them.
They didn't have high expectations for 2020, but then they were swamped. With the benefit of hindsight, her theory was simple: "People are just desperate to get out of the house and cheer themselves up," Laryssa told Patch.

Their kiosk is located in Henry Gourdine Park, just north of Engel Park. They make the ice cream there, using as many locally sourced ingredients as possible including dairy from Hudson Valley Fresh, a farm cooperative processor, and fruits and vegetables from farms in the region such as Fable in Ossining.
In 2020, their carrot cake ice cream was the favorite. What will it be in 2021? All we know is that bourbon vanilla will be on tap this weekend.
