It's a special one, celebrating founder Pete Seeger's 100th birthday and the Sloop Clearwater's 50th. And as always creating heavy traffic.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON — The country’s oldest and largest music and environmental festival returns to Croton Point June 15-16. It's a special one this year, celebrating founder Pete Seeger’s 100th birthday and the 50th Anniversary of the Sloop Clearwater.

And as every year, village officials remind drivers to expect heavy traffic congestion Saturday and Sunday on South Riverside Avenue, Croton Point Avenue, and Route 9/9A travelling in both directions.

"If you are planning to travel to the Croton-Harmon Train Station either day, please leave yourself extra time to get to the station," village officials said. Residents who need to travel on Route 9/9A, in or out of the village, access the road from either the Municipal Place or Senasqua Road entrance ramps.
