Boardwalk Memories: Art on the Beach. Playland Park, Playland Parkway, Rye: (914) 813-7000. “The Floating Forest” exhibit features ceramic jellyfish suspended from the ceiling at varying heights with lights cast down upon them, creating an engaging and interactive piece that adults and children can enjoy. FRIDAY, JULY 26

Hike Du Jour: 9:30 a.m.–11 a.m. Croton Point Park, 1 Croton Point Ave., Croton-on-Hudson: (914) 862-5290. Join the naturalist for an exploration of Croton Point’s ecology, history, pre-history and geology. Meet at the entrance to the RV area. Parking fees apply.

Family Fun Day: noon–4 p.m. Sprain Ridge Pool, 149 Jackson Ave., Yonkers: (914) 231-3450. Music, dance fun and games all afternoon. Free with pool fee. Parking fees apply. Rain date: July 28.

Dragonfly Walk: 10 a.m.–11 a.m. Muscoot Farm, Route 100, Somers: (914) 864-7282. Learn all about the farm’s dragonflies from Bedford Audubon naturalist Tait Johansson.

MONDAY, JULY 29
