State Police in Troop K removed 18 impaired motorists from public roadways over the June 27 weekend. Among them was a felony DWI arrest in Croton-on-Hudson.
On June 27, troopers arrested Jose R. Becerra Rey, 32, of Peekskill, NY, for DWI with a prior conviction within 10 years, a class E felony.
He was traveling on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
