Croton-Harmon First-Graders Try Out Yoga

Teachers from Croton-on-Hudson's Yoga Sol offered a yoga class to students.

From CHUFSD: First-grade students at Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School in Croton-on-Hudson tested their strength, flexibility and balance during a yoga session hosted by two local yogis and parents, Kristy Cohen and Erin Trapasso.

The grade has been studying communities, which has included visiting local businesses, but this time, the businesses visited them at Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School.

Students learned that some businesses, like Yoga Sol, where the two instructors teach, can provide a service in a community.
