Croton Officials Call For Common-Sense Halloween

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Acknowledging that Croton residents will celebrate Halloween in 2020 in many different ways, village officials offer resources.

First, the village offers signs which residents can display to indicate if they will be giving out treats on Halloween. You are welcome to print these and display in a visible area.

Second, here's information on safe trick-or-treating: New York State has developed guidelines.

Third, here are recommendations for celebrating without trick-or-treating. The CDC has also put together a list of low risk activities.

"We ask that everyone use common sense and put safety first," they said in an email to the community.
