Croton To Open Silver Lake Beach By Reservation Only
Village officials implemented a new system due to the strict pandemic guidelines set by New York state.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Silver Lake opens June 26 to the residents of Croton. However, due to strict pandemic guidelines set by the New York State Health Department (50 percent capacity, social distancing), village officials implemented a reservation system.
Officials said they understand that during this challenging time residents may not be able to enjoy the village's swimming beach on the Croton River as in the past. They promised to monitor the process on a weekly basis and make adjustments as necessary.
