How did you come up with the name?

The name Health/E (pronounced “healthy”) perfectly describes my business goal - to help others find Health! It’s also a small play on my first name.

Why start a business in this town?

Croton is a health-conscious community, filled with warm and caring people. We all take such good care of one another, and sometimes forget to care for ourselves! Part of my role as Health Coach is reminding others about self care.

What business are you in?

I’m a holistic Health Coach, trained by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As a Health Coach, I strategize with individuals to help them find wellness and balance through diet and lifestyle changes.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

The toughest challenge I’ve faced so far was making the decision to start a business and going for it! And I’m so glad I did because I know that I’m making a difference.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

I’m very proud of the fact that I’ve expanded my work to include people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Having a chronic illness can cause daily complications, and I help others manage these issues and improve their lives in the process.

How does your business give back to the community?

Health/E gives back to the community by promoting local events, and sharing health tips through social media and local workshops, which in turn encourages healthy lifestyles for everyone.
