WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Here are some of the events going on this week and weekend in Westchester's parks.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 27
Hilltop Hanover Farm, 1271 Hanover Street, Yorktown Heights – Farm-to-Table Dinner Fundraiser – 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. featuring a cocktail hour, three-course dinner, music, and silent auction with proceeds to benefit the farm. SATURDAY, SEPT. 29
Kensico Dam Plaza, One Bronx River Parkway, Valhalla – American Heart Association Walk – 9 a.m. – noon. Fundraiser for American Heart Association. Registration begins at 9 a.m.; walk begins at 10 a.m. Registration and fees required.

Read Wildlife Sanctuary, Playland Park, Rye – Enjoy a cup of tea and some cake while exploring the Pollinator Garden in late summer. Sponsored by the Friends of Read Sanctuary.
Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Routes 35 and 121 South, Cross River - Naturalist’s Choice Hike – 1 p.m. So many miles of trails to explore! Where will our naturalist take you today? Join us and find out.
Marshlands Conservancy, Route 1 (Boston Post Road), Rye – Help weed whack the meadow trails. Bring work gloves; hand tools provided. Great for any type of service credit hours.
SATURDAY – SUNDAY, SEPT. 29 - 30
Muscoot Farm, Route 100, Somers – Art Exhibit – Noon – 4 p.m. See artwork by Robert Uricchio in the Main House Gallery on weekends in September.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 30
Glen Island Park, Weyman Avenue, New Rochelle – Car Show – 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Classic cars on view by decade. Registration 9 a.m.- noon; fee $20 per entry. Free admission; parking $5.
Muscoot Farm, Route 100, Somers – Muscoot Farmers Market – 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Shop the many local vendors who offer produce and food products every Sunday through mid-November.
Bronx River Parkway, White Plains to Yonkers – Final Bicycle Sunday of the Season – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Bike, walk or jog a 13.1-mile loop of the Bronx River Parkway from White Plains to Yonkers.
Kensico Dam Plaza, One Bronx River Parkway, Valhalla – Gold Star Mothers Day – 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. A day of recognition to honor those who have lost a son or daughter while serving in the United States armed forces.
MONDAY, OCT. 1
Muscoot Farm, Route 100, Somers – Muscoot Bird Walk – 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. Bring binoculars and join Anne Swaim from the Saw Mill Audubon Society and learn all about the birds that call Muscoot Farm home.
