Fire Damages General Splice Corporation In Croton-On-Hudson
About 100 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene.
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY—Several fire department responded to a fire that broke out at the General Splice Corporation building in Croton-On-Hudson over the weekend.
At 8:20 p.m. Saturday, volunteer firefighters with the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department were dispatched to a report of smoke coming from the building, which is located on Niles Road.
As crews arrived on scene, they said they saw fire shooting through the roof of the building. Multiple fire departments arrived on scene to assist the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department with extinguishing the flames.

According to firefighters, they were able to get the fire under control within about 40 minutes of arriving on scene.
Several medics were on scene to help firefighters replenish fluids and avoid heat-related ailments, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department.

Fortunately, no injuries to civilians or firefighters occurred. All units cleared the scene about three hours later.
