Former Westchester County ADA Says Judge Mike Tawil Cares
Former Supervising Assistant District Attorney for All of Northern Westchester Endorses Judge Tawil
Dear Fellow Democrats:
I have been a practicing attorney in Westchester County for over twenty-five years, all of which have been spent in the criminal courts of our County. In 2012, while I was the Supervising Assistant District Attorney for Northern Westchester, Judge Michael Tawil began his tenure as a Town Court Judge for the Town of Ossining. I made regular appearances in front of Judge Tawil and saw him develop until I left the region in 2017. Early on it was obvious to me that Judge Tawil was intelligent and a hard worker as he knew every detail of all the cases that were on each day in court. But what impressed me most about Judge Tawil was that being a Judge was more than just a job to him, he deeply cared about each of his cases. The way he conducted his court showed his deep concern for his community, for the victims and for the defendants appearing in front of him each day. Judge Michael Tawil has the right temperament, talent and care that Ossining, and every Town in Westchester needs in the courtroom for success.
Ossining should be proud to have such a public servant on the bench and you should re-elect him without reservation.
