Hudson Valley Hazardous Outlook Posted: Chance Of Snow
For everyone, it's going to be cold and rainy. Very rainy and quite cold.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook Wednesday afternoon for the mid-Hudson Valley about the big storm headed our way on Thursday.
That's because snow is predicted, mostly for the Catskills and maybe the Taconics.
"A dynamic storm system is expected to bring light to moderate wet snow to the region Thursday night into Friday. Snow will mostly, if not exclusively, be confined to the higher terrain above 1000 feet," the NWS said.

Accuweather meteorologist Jake Sojda warned that roads in higher elevations, including a few major thoroughfares such as I-88 through the Catskills and I-90 over the Berkshires, could turn slippery for a time late Thursday night into Friday morning.
While there may be some snow mixing in, in the valleys, it will not be sticking. The best best for several inches of heavy, wet snow looks to be in the Berkshires and Greens #518wx pic.twitter.com/RhreasSjJl

"After dark, is when things could get rather interesting," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "We believe that the chances are increasing that the Hudson Valley is spared the worst from this storm system, and New England looks to be the focal point for heaviest snow … but it is still far too early to be certain of anything."
Here's a look at the next 48 hours based on Orange County, NY.
