OSSINING, NY – The Joseph Caputo Community Center is now open after police investigated a bomb threat on Wednesday.

According to the Ossining Police, the building was evacuated around noon and programs at the center were postponed while officials investigated. Residents were urged to avoid the area.

Members of the Westchester County Police Department Explosives Detectives team were called in to help with the investigation. Around 1 p.m., they gave the all clear for programs to resume.
