Keep Our Town Judge

I was pleased to learn that the Town Council recently voted to reappoint Michael Tawil as Judge of the Town of Ossining. My family and I have known Michael and his family for approximately 17 years.

In my parents later years, they downsized from a home in Ossining to a Condo in Ossining to make their lives easier. The Tawils were dear neighbors who became like family. Michael checked on my parents and was there whenever they needed him; which as they grew older, was often. He kept their spirits up and after my Dad passed would use the excuse to raid my Mom's cookie jar just to check on her.

My parents saw him during a case in court and would tell the story over and over of how impressed they were with how bright, professional and fair a judge he is. They are no longer living, but I can attest to his good nature.
