Judge Tawil is a Justice For ALL
I am proud he was the officiant to marry my wife and I as soon as marriage equity became law in New York State

I am writing to let you know that my family and I support Judge Michael Tawil for re-election as town judge. I have known Judge Tawil for 10 years and I know him to be an honest and fair person. He has a reputation in our community as not only a good person, but a good judge that has been a positive force in the community. Most especially, I am proud he was the officiant to marry my wife and I as soon as marriage equity became law in New York State.
Judge Tawil is the kind of man who showed up at White Plains Hospital on a Sunday evening 5 days after my wife(age 45, never smoked) was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. He came out of concern and love for my family, but also to see if there was anything he could assist me with. I was in a state of shock, I didn't know what I needed. I hadn't slept or ate. I couldn't think of anything but my wife. I could only watch as she had multiple procedures to save her life. We have two small children who I couldn't be with. Through his guidance, calm demeanor and gentle way he helped me get all of my legal matters in order. Judge Tawil made sure that anything he could do for us he would do. I don't know many men who would have done what he did for us. Since then, he has been on this journey of cancer with us EVERY step of the way.
I have heard there are some people in town saying negative things about Mike. The stories do nothing to change my opinion are not who Judge Tawil is. I firmly believe that he should be the Judge in Ossining for years to come. I am glad that the Town Council unanimously voted to re-appoint him as judge and I support him in his upcoming re-election. Thank you for your time and for reading this letter.
