OSSINING, NY — Dana Levenberg and Peter Connolly won decisively in Ossining's Democratic nomination for Ossining town supervisor and highway superintendent in Tuesday's primary, according to unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections.

Levenberg was challenged by town Council Member Elizabeth R. Feldman for the Democratic line on the November ballot. Connolly was challenged by Fern N. Quezada, a member of the town's Recreation Advisory Board.

As factions in the local Democratic party fought for control, the fight over supervisor was more heated. On Tuesday, many Democrats who voted in the primary were village residents, able to vote for town supervisor but not for highway superintendent, which handles only the "town outside."
