Debbie spent her career in human resources in Manhattan and was most recently involved in client services, overseeing operations for a franchise specializing in radon mitigation systems. John spent 30 years in commercial real estate in New York City. When the pandemic struck, both began working from home and realized they were ready to open their own business and stay local. “We were tired of the morning commute and wanted a lifestyle change, especially now that we were empty nesters with two kids in college. John and I both like helping people and solving problems, so we thought we’d apply that to helping clients with their flooring needs,” said Debbie, who is handling sales while John oversees operations.
