Maria Kellner, of Ossining, 92

Maria Kellner a resident of Ossining since 1956, when she moved from Germany, passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2014. 

Maria was born in Bruck, Germany on August 2, 1921 and was the daughter of Alois and Bertha (Hofstetter) Glomann. She was 92.

Maria married Joseph Kellner on November 27, 1953 in Germany. Joseph predeceased her on March 19, 1996. Maria was a former employee of the Patterson Estate in Ossining. She was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church and a longtime member of the German American Club of Ossining and the Golden Agers Club #1.

Mrs. Kellner is survived by her son Eric (Dorothy Fenech), her daughter Elizabeth Kamp; and 3 grandchildren: Julie (Michael) Barnes, Richard (Casey) and Eric Kamp. She was predeceased by 7 siblings.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday 6-9 PM at Dorsey. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Church. Interment to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
