
Marie Christine Roe, known to her family and friends as Christine, passed away on March 3rd after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Christine was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1931 to Fred and Lena Pomponio. After finishing school in Mt. Vernon, Christine worked for Traveler’s Insurance, the beginning of her long and successful career in insurance sales.
In the 55 years Christine lived in the Indian Village neighborhood of Ossining NY, she was a devoted wife and mother, a faithful parishioner, a loyal and caring friend who freely gave of her time and talents.

Christine moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in 2019 to enjoy some warm winter weather.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John F. Roe, as well as her only sibling, Joan Novack. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Minella (Michael), Carolyn and Barbara; her son Kevin; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law, Mickey Roe.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Theresa's Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY. A memorial gathering will be scheduled for later in the year.
