Keep Our Town Judge
Keep Our Town Judge

I am writing to endorse Mike Tawil for re-election to the Town Judge position he currently holds. Having known Mike for over ten years I have always found him to be a good listener, respectful, fair, intelligent, compassionate and honest, whether that be in our personal relationship or on the occasions I have witnessed him in the courtroom and as a member of the Town Board. Many other friends and colleagues have echoed those same sentiments time and again.

In addition, I appreciate his long-standing record of service to the community, not only in elected positions, but as a volunteer on many projects. As someone who has also held a public service role, it is not only one of the most rewarding things you can do, but also one of the most challenging.

I applaud Mike for not only stepping up to the plate all these years, but also for his ability to learn and grow from situations, regardless of which lens they have been viewed with in the public forum.

In my opinion these reasons, coupled with his wealth of experience both as a practicing lawyer and Town judge, make Judge Tawil an excellent candidate to continue to admirably serve the community. I look forward to voting for him and urge others to do so as well.
