Midnight Fire Engulfs Croton Home
Firefighters were assisted by neighboring communities for the second time in 18 hours.
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Croton firefighters exhausted after fighting a gas-fed fire at Half Moon Bay for eight hours Saturday were called at 1 a.m. Sunday to a fire on Birch Court.
They received Mutual Aid from Bedford Hills, Buchanan, Montrose, Montrose VA, Millwood, Ossining and Yorktown at the fire and Verplanck and Sleepy Hollow helped standing by in the Harmon Firehouse.
