Gerry married Joan Potocki on June 25, 1966, and went on to lovingly raise two daughters, Beth Farrelly of Yonkers and Jeanine Isabella (Joseph) of Katonah. He watched and nurtured his girls, who he often called his “queenies” and gave even more love back to his four grandchildren, Molly, Ryan, Colin, and Jayne.
A friend to all and a family man to his core, he was a gentle soul whose life was built on hard work and the company of loved ones. Gerry remained in touch with friends from his Washington Heights neighborhood and his job, and enjoyed time with family, friends and neighbors. He emulated kindness in a graceful way and always made it a point to know every person in the room.
